Eaton's 51101500A Line Interactive UPS protect the integrity of data and applications by shielding electronic equipment from power outages, surges, sags, under voltage and overvoltage conditions. The compact design is a great space saver, and can be deployed as a tower UPS, in desktop mode under a computer monitor, or (with an optional Rack Kit) in a network rack cabinet. The 51101500A has six surge protected Australian 3-pin power output sockets, three of which can be used for battery backup to keep equipment operating during a power failure or periods of sub-standard power supply. The Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) function stabilises fluctuating power sources and preserves battery life. With a battery capacity of 1.5kVA/900W, the 51101500A UPS will support connected devices such as computers for up to 74 minutes with a 170 watt load.

The 51101500A is a model from Eaton's 5110 Series of Modified Sine Wave Line Interactive UPS. Models in the series start with a 500VA/300W battery capacity, and use sealed, maintenance free lead-acid batteries. Six power output sockets are provided - three for battery backup and all six surge protected. Batteries have "Start-on" capability, enabling the unit to be used as a portable power source. 5110 Series UPS deliver consistent, clean output with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) that doesn't drain battery power. In addition, an RJ-11 jack phone line transient protector guards phone equipment from "back door" power surges. A USB communications port is provided. PowerWare LANsafe power management and auto shutdown software provides comprehensive power management functions and automatically closes computer applications in the event of a power outage. Audible alarms and remote alarm notification via e-mail, pager, the Web or SNMP keeps the user informed of power problems and low battery conditions.
