Description

The PWRMCS-AC is a 300 watt rated AC Modular Power Supply, designed for the Xtramus MCS-2160 10 Gigabit Ethernet Managed Media Converter Chassis. It can be used as single power source, or two units can be installed to provide dual redundant power.

The PWRMCS-AC is a 300 watt rated AC, auto-ranging 90-240VAC Modular Power Supply, designed for the Xtramus MCS-2160 10 Gigabit Ethernet Managed Media Converter Chassis. The Power Module is installed in either of two Power Module Bays in the rear panel of the MCS-2160 chassis. One installed PWRMCS-AC can be used as single mains power source for the MCS-2160, or two units can be installed to provide a dual redundant power supply with auto-failover from the primary to standby Power Module within a maximum of 30ms. The Power Module is a 'Hot Swap' device, suitable for field or user upgrades with no system downtime.

The PWRMCS-AC has a sister Power Module, the PWRMCS-DC, which is a 300 watt 48 volt DC Power Module. These two Power Modules can be used in any combination to support an MCS-2160 chassis with an AC/AC, AC/DC or DC/DC Dual Redundant Power Supply. 1x 300W AC and 1x 300W DC Power Modules supplied with MCS-2160 chassis as standard.
