The ZIP 2x2 offers is a cost effective, fully featured entry level business grade IP phone, designed for deployment as a general purpose handset for workgroups who are not intensive telephone users.

The Zultys ZIP 2x2 delivers a cost effective fully featured SIP phone that supports AES Encryption. The ZIP 2x2 integrates the functions of a managed switch with a business phone, and provides a backlit display for convenient viewing. The phone is referred to as a "two by two" because it has two call appearances and two Ethernet circuits. It offers two LAN ports, two call appearances, a backlit graphical LCD, three-way conferencing, full-duplex speakerphone, encryption, power over Ethernet (PoE) deployment, multi-language menus, custom ring tones, multiple user login, built-in Quality of Service (QoS), DND, call forwarding, mute, and redial.

Designed For Use With Zultys MX IP Telephone Systems  ZIP series IP Phones are designed by Zultys to complement their award-winning IP-PBX IP telephone systems. Use ZIP series IP phones with MX30 and MX250 IP-PBX appliances for added features and tight integration.

Remarkable Speech Quality The ZIP 2x2 is designed for high fidelity audio on handset and speaker phone. The speaker phone has full duplex acoustic echo cancellation (AEC) so that the phone is fully functional as a speaker phone in an office or cubicle. The phone incorporates Zultys' patented jitter buffer. This ensures that speech quality is optimal, even when the network has varying delays and lost packets.

Encryption The phone can encrypt voice stream to another ZIP 2x2 or other equipment that supports AES encryption. Users can activate this function before or during a call. Alternatively, the administrator can enforce encryption so that it is not possible to establish a call without encryption. Encryption prevents the conversation from being decoded on the network.

Simplified Deployment From initial deployment and configuration to future enhancements and upgrades, the ZIP 2x2 is designed to save your business time and money. Easily created configuration files, using any text editor and a variety of communication protocols can be used to configure phones individually or centrally.

Data Features The ZIP 2x2 has dual Fast Ethernet ports so users can connect to an additional device such as a PC, without any additional investment in an external switch. The Ethernet ports are wired so they can easily be connected to the network and the PC with straight through cables.
